Update Icons

Setting up this blog site gave me an occasion to use the GL Icon or logo.  That made me realize two things, first, I didn't have a logo and the Icons that I had were out of date, so I refreshed them, got rid of Icons that haven't been used and refreshed what I has so that they all used the same color green and blue.

Basically, there are three styles of GL icon, the Standard Letterhead Style, that has been used the most, the Shield that was created by Ed as a result of going to Henley and realizing we didn't have a badge, and a Box Style that was used once in 2005 for Henley.

The standard Letterhead style

This style is available in six (6) sizes based on height. The sizes are:

Colors

All logos use the following colors:

  • Green Lake Green: RGB (7,51,7)
  • Green Lake Aqua: RGB (0,163,200)

The shield uses three shades of green.

  • The outside border and letter G uses Green Lake Green.
  • The light shade of green for the blade color is RGB (4,88,4). Needed something a little brighter to distinguish it from the letter G.
  • The almost white at the lower left of the shield is a really light green RGB (226,237,230).
