Camera Replacement

On Regionals Saturday (4/17/14) my camera stopped working in the early afternoon. That is the reason why my chase photos of the fours are missing. In total, I lost about 700 shots (the approx number of shots I took but were not captured) until I could get back on shore in order to return to the hotel to get my backup. In all probability, the shutter burned out.

My current plan is to fix the current camera to use as a backup and buy a replacement primary camera.  The reason is because my current replacement is a 10MP camera and beyond it's useful life. 

Because of the number of photos that I take, I really need a backup that will take better shots than todays cell phones.

The whole thing will cost me upwards of $1500!  So, skip your latte today and help defray my cost to replace the camera!
